WalkingWomen returns to The Glenthorne Guest House loved by walking women over many,many years. We hope you will join and experience it for yourself. This is a chance to try a a variety of walks and enjoy the beautiful Lake District in England. We hope many of you will join us as we celebrate what WalkingWomen has given so many women over these 25 years. We will be celebrating throughout the year and beyond! SUMMARY
Date: Monday October 13th to Saturday October 18th 2025

Walking Grade: A bit of everything as a variety of Goat 1 and 2 walks are offered with an option of a Goat 3 higher walk on one day if there enough women want to try a goat 3. Expect walks each day of 4-5 hours.

Base: Glenthorne Guest House, Easdale Road,Grasmere,Cumbria
A long established Quaker run Guest house in the heart of the English Lake District. It has always been popular and provides a welcoming, relaxed, comfortable environment with delicious home-cooked meals.
Arrivals: Please arrive by 15.00 on Monday 13th.
There is parking at Glenthorne if you are driving or local buses and trains.
Departures: After a short morning walk on Saturday 18th October.
Leave after 14.00
Price: £1150 for a solo occupancy room fully inclusive
If you bring a friend/partner and share it is £1000.
For the 1st 6 women to book we will discount to £999 and we will adjust your invoice on booking.
