Here it is! Back by popular demand, our Long Distance Coast to Coast holiday follows what must be one of the best long distance routes in the world. Starting at St Bees Head, Cumbria on England’s west coast it ends at beautiful Robin Hood’s Bay, North Yorkshire on the east coast. It is a popular route and a real challenge with many rewards along the way. Traversing the country, we will experience a range of different landscapes and walk through 3 National Parks – the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors. You will see quaint villages, many mountains, lakes, moors and get a true sense of the beautiful English countryside in all her glory.
At 198.5 miles over 15 days, there’s no getting away from the fact that this is a tough trek suitable for experienced walkers who may be wise to put in some training in advance. That said, the sense of achievement is immense as you approach the North Sea and the final leg of your journey! We hope you can join us!
The holiday includes baggage transfer so you only have to carry a day pack. Packed lunches can be ordered as you go along and we will eat together in the evenings.
