Insurance

Insurance is essential – please see below if you need help from a WalkingWomen partner.EmeraldLife Travel Insurance: https://www.emeraldlife.co.uk/travel-insurance/

The UK Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC) lets you get state healthcare in Europe at a reduced cost or sometimes for free. If you have a UK European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) it will be valid until the expiry date on the card. Once it expires, you’ll need to apply for a GHIC to replace it. GHIC and EHIC do not replace travel insurance. Click on the link below to find out how to apply.

Booking Tickets

If you need help with booking tickets on public transport within the UK or further afield with ferries, flights or trains let us know and we can advise. Check out Skyscanner to look for flights – useful to review times and prices but we recommend then booking directly with the airline. Often best to pay a little bit more for flexibility to change if your plans change.
