2022 is our first year of the new WalkingWomen holiday programme – 30 holidays of old favourites and new adventures. We are trying all types of goats ! We’ve had ears open as we prepare our new holiday programme for 2023 – we hope you like it. More to be added weekly so keep an eye out …
We have been recceing new locations, joining holidays, meeting guests, and reading all the feedback. So many ideas for our future.Thank you.
As we put together the 2023 programme we hope you will see that memorable holiday to book. On our first February holiday in Skipton there was a plea to add Iceland to the programme so we bring you the Magic of Iceland with our very own VikingWomen Saga.
We are listening so any thoughts or suggestions, please always let us know.
We’ve also learned a lot about the day-to-day running of a business and working together as siblings – a real family business! It hasn’t always been easy starting with Covid still around but we’re getting there. Sadly costs have gone up as the travel industry has suffered hugely but we believe in collaborating and supporting local travel entrepreneurs to all get going again.
Core to our ethos is supporting women.
We work with women-run community enterprises, we work closely with women guides and choose women-run hotels wherever possible. Putting women at the heart of what we do makes us unique. It also justifies our costs as it’s true our holiday prices can’t compete with the large travel operators. We believe we offer bespoke experiences that are so much more than just a walking holiday. We offer you the chance to walk, connect and revive with other women. We add cultural visits, meeting women producers, interesting talks, good food and great company that all make up our special holidays.
You will find many great holidays on our website, with more added weekly, so don’t forget to check back regularly. See our 2023 programme here
We want to thank all of you that have supported us so far, and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve got planned for the future! Watch this space…
