Originally hailing from Germany, I’ve been calling Scotland home since 2005 and take much pride in sharing the country I love with others. I work as a walking tour guide and outdoor ethics trainer, interested in cultural heritage and natural interpretation. I also have a particular interest in the travels of Anne Lister and running walking tours in Edinburgh, weaving her diary entries into the fabric of the city.
Along with my wife and our Vizsla dog Mara, we are based on a farm near Grantown on Spey in the Cairngorms National Park and love to explore from our doorstep and beyond.
