Amy grew up in the breathtaking landscape of the Cairngorms, where her
love for the mountains and wild spaces was born. After time away for
study and travel she returned in her 30s with a deepened appreciation
for this majestic place and all it has to offer.
As well as a walking guide Amy is a mountaineering and climbing
instructor and also a sculptor and artist. When she is not leading walks,
you might find her sketching the stunning views we’ve encountered along
the way.
Walking and being in nature has been a lifelong passion, but it’s in
the past decade that she has turned this passion into guiding and
instructing. Amy particularly loves working with women, helping them
build confidence and skills in the outdoors, whether it’s on foot or
on the rock. There’s something truly special about sharing these wild
places, seeing others discover their own strength, and fostering a
sense of adventure and connection with nature.
She is looking forward to sharing the magic of Scotland’s incredible landscape
with you!
