Ailsa grew up near the peak district and was always happiest outdoors. Gowing up she would hike as a family and when old enough started hiking and walking with friends.
Ailsa now lives in Fort William in the Scottish Highlands and works as a mountain leader and guide. She loves nothing better than being in the mountains walking or climbing, alone or with others. She gets great joy out of taking people to the amazing places on her doorstep and showing them everything the highlands has to offer.
