The Gower Peninsula was the first Welsh area to be awarded Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty status, with The Gower Way providing a superb way to experience the varied landscape this area has to offer e.g. limestone cliffs, sandy bays, woodland, moors and open hillside. Our walks will mainly be direct from the Oxwich Bay Hotel, just metres from the sea, through such mixed delights as nature reserve, woodland, cliff tops, open fields, dunes and sweeping sandy beach. On one day we may take a trip to the breathtakingly panoramic Worm’s Head area at Rhossili.
We will be staying in the hotel’s static homes – these have recently been significantly upgraded with central heating, power showers and hotel grade mattresses. We will take our meals at the hotel, 100metres away. The static homes are ideal for our dog friendly holidays with plenty of space and freedom for both dog and owner.
The nearest train station to Oxwich Bay is Swansea, about 15 miles away with good bus connections to near the hotel, so you can use public transport to reach this somewhat remote but beautiful destination.
Price includes: 4 nights full board in ensuite static homes. NO SINGLE SUPPLEMENT.
