Our new women’s walking and yoga holiday in Crete offers the chance to relax and enjoy the beautiful island of Crete at a leisurely pace. Crete, the 5th largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, offers a diverse landscape of rugged mountains, enchanting beaches which run alongside the captivating turquoise sea. The holiday allows plenty of free time for relaxation, contemplation, swimming and generally enjoying your surroundings. There will be a yoga session in the morning followed by a gentle walk of between 2.5 and 4 hours. On the walks, we will discover splendid scenery alongside archaeological sites, medieval chapels, quaint fishing ports, local crafts and much more. On returning from the walk you have time to yourself before meeting again in the early evening for a further yoga session before dinner in a local taverna. Our yoga teacher, Zena, teaches a blend of Hatha Yoga, Anusara Yoga, Bhakti Flow and Therapeutic Yoga. Her teaching is soft and intense at the same time. By giving very precise directions, she helps participants to deepen their practice with safety and ease.
