This holiday takes us to the southernmost part of the South Downs National Park. Our paths will take us up onto the Downs with views across the City of Chichester and the surrounding farmland, out to sea and inland to some lovely downland villages and the famous Goodwood Racecourse.
The City of Chichester with its magnificent cathedral is a short distance from our lodgings and we could spend some time exploring. Staying just north of Chichester at a comfortable 17th century pub in East Ashling this holiday will give us the opportunity of getting on to the beautiful South Downs with fantastic downland walking, ancient yew woodland and a chance to discover this lovely part of the country.
