The superb landscape of the Shropshire Hills is the backdrop to our 4 night holiday based in the quaint, bustling market town of Ludlow. The Shropshire Way and the Mortimer Trail both pass through the town and will lead us to the surrounding viewpoints for superb panoramas. We will certainly head to Titterstone Clee Hill to survey our environs! On one day we may take the Shropshire Way north to Craven Arms and on another perhaps aim towards the English /.Welsh border to take in part of the Offa’s Dyke Path. Woodland, commons and drovers routes will give an all round insight into this nationally recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Locally brewed real ale and pretty tea shops will hopefully add to the experience.
Pubs, restaurants, cafes and independent shops line the main street and pretty market square whilst the castle ruins dominate the town. We will venture into Ludlow in the evening for our meals (not included).
This new holiday is based at the Ludlow Mascall Centre, a community run venture housed in a former Victorian school which lies in the heart of the town.
Price includes: 4 nights half board; transport to walks. Single rooms available if you book early- £15.
